 ⋅ ∘ ○ Viy is one of the oldest gods of the Slavic pantheon. The name Viy comes from the Old Slavic word "veika" - eyelash. No one knows what is under the eyelids of Viy, as his gaze kills everybody living  ∘ 
 ⋅ ∘ ○ Mara is the goddess of winter and death. Her name is synonymous with the words "pestilence" and "death". In Slavic mythology, Mara is associated with early cycle of dying and resurrection of nature. According to some beliefs, by the end of winter, Mara would change from a beautiful young girl into an old woman.  ∘
